Who Gets to Experience Anahvia Should Keep
Our physical space is one expression of the mission. It is not the boundary of it.
As a nonprofit organization, we are developing ways to bring thoughtfully designed creative programming to people and communities who may not otherwise encounter experiences like these.
That includes programming created with older adults and seniors in mind, collaborations with community organizations, educational programming, and partnerships that allow us to bring creative experiences into spaces beyond our own.
We are also interested in the people who are often overlooked when creative programming is designed. The adult who stopped thinking of themselves as creative years ago. The older adult whose opportunities to try something new have become fewer. The person whose days revolve around caring for everyone else. The communities that deserve access to thoughtfully designed opportunities for enjoyment, engagement, and human interaction.
Our community work will continue to grow alongside Anahvia. As it does, we will share that story through the programs created, people reached, organizations involved, and outcomes we can actually measure.
