OUR MISSION

Using Creativity as a Therapeutic Vessel

Anahvia operates through Blossom Bar Houston, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

The nonprofit mission grew from something we had already experienced firsthand: creating can give our attention a place to land.

It can challenge us without requiring perfection. It can create room for interaction without an ask. It can give someone the satisfaction of looking at something that did not exist before they made it.

When we say using creativity as a therapeutic vessel, we mean creativity is not the cure and not the clinical practice—it is the vehicle. Our nonprofit work allows that philosophy to extend beyond the people who already know how to find it.
